Agency Contact was introduced to comply with IATA 830d resolution, which states that an Agency booking on behalf passenger must pass contact information so that the airline can contact passenger for any operation disruption. The agency contact detail fields can be fake. There exists a field called passengers, where the contact details must be of the real passengers and these details will be passed to the airlines, and can be hard requirement to book an ancillary with an airline.
